Borrowed from styles of both the Scottish Claymore and the Irish Ring Sword.
 
40 inch blade, 54 inches overall, hardened and tempered high carbon German steel, double fullered and hollow ground.
 
Worked together with a friend on this one, who did the blacksmithing, and it was given as a gift to a friend. 
The ring pommel features our friend's clan name and motto machine engraved in the steel, and the clan crest hand carved in the ebony wood grip.
