These are two different axes based on the iconic Bruce Axe depicted in the 1960's bronze statue of King Robert the Bruce at the Bannockburn battlefield. I had two different requests to bring this Axe to life this year. One with carvings on bog oak and some gold plated engravings, the other just plain, both hammer wrought forged finish with rails and brass rivets.
