There are times that a project just goes right. The blade comes out beautiful, the antler feels perfect in the hand, everything fits tightly.
We've just finished up on this knife, The Stag Skinner, and it's ready for leatherwork. It features a beautiful pattern welded blade that we made here in the shop, with a Scottish Red Deer Antler Grip, which is carved, and engraved fittings. It's sharp, has a thick spine, and fantastic balance.
I'm quite pleased with the way this knife has come out. It'll be up in the shop soon, so stay tuned!
