Having finished the upgrades in the forge and custom orders, I'm back to work on the massive claymore project that I left off in the end of June. There was time to settle on ideas for the carvings. This one is a step up from anything attempted as of yet. The bog oak grip has it's first cuts done and the sketchings are for the scabbard. Scotland's major heraldic themes were chosen...unicorn, lion, and thistle.
