Introducing: The Scottish Jacknife
Few realise that the universal term 'jacknife', or folding knife, is of Scottish origin. A legal version of this traditional hunting style folding knife has been long overdue. UK law requires:
-a cutting edge of less than 3 inches (the Jacknife comes in at 2.9")
-non- locking (nearly all Single Hand Openers are!)
-'non aggressive' (it is a traditional, all- purpose knife, so reasons to carry include cutting boxes, fingernails, toothpick, etc;)
Massive and heavy compared to all others due to it's 3/16" (5mm) thick blade and brass fittings, you will know when it's in your pocket. Blade and spring completely forged by hand of 1095 steel for a supreme cutting edge. Pictured are the first prototype (with deer antler scales), and the first two finalised with serial numbers 001 and 002 in real elk antler and brass.
